Meet Annette Blackett
With over 20 years of experience in education, Annette Blackett is a dedicated International Jolly Trainer, Lead Teacher, Tutor, Consultant, and Volunteer Mission Worker. Her journey spans across Australia, the UK, Mozambique, and Papua New Guinea (PNG), where she has empowered 100’s of educators and transformed literacy learning through faith-based, culturally responsive teaching.
Annette specialises in systematic synthetic phonics instruction (Jolly Learning-SSP), teacher training, and ESL education, equipping both children and adults with essential literacy skills. As the driving force behind Why Education Training, she works to uplift teachers, schools, and communities—bridging faith, and education, resulting in transformational impact.
Her educational philosophy is simple yet profound: “One Person, One Day at a time.”
